Fruit diet?

Is it healthy to live off fruit, veg and supplements?





And if I loose weight on that will I gain it back?





Oh and I'd snack on seeds and nuts for protein!





(This would be an example of what I'd eat in a day)





Breakfast:


Smoothie with pure juice, fruit and some nuts/seeds. A glass of milk.





Lunch:


Fruit salad and some nuts and milk





Dinner:


Big salad and roast veg





Snacks:


Fruit and nuts

Reply:it's better to lose weight by making small changes because if you change your whole diet, your body doesn't have much time to adjust and so stores a lot of food...this can actually make you gain weight...(personal experience)





if you do lose the weight, there is a good chance you will gain it back if you can't stick to your diet...





also, since you had milk on the list, i guess you aren't opposed to dairy. it would be good to add some cheese...that gives you a lot of energy and fills you up a lot more than fruit
Reply:i dont think you can live off of this the rest of your life. the sugar content will be ridiculous and once you stop the diet..it will all come back..just incorporate MORE fruits and veggies with lean meats like chicken..you can lose weight by cutting back sweets and certain fats, you dont have to change your WHOLE diet
Reply:Fast off, fast back on again .... don't do it. East 5 small healthy meals a day, drink a glass of water an hour and get in at least 20 minutes of brisk walking. You'll lose it then, slowly, but it won't come back.

in Ancient days our people lived on only with frutis and vegetables which has many nutrition required for our health.


We can atlease take some fruits daily along with our regular food.

Reply:It sounds ok, but you need to add more variety to your diet. I don't think you'll gain the weight back if you keep eating healthy. = ]
Reply:This sounds fine. Just make sure you get some protein everyday. You could eat some beans to get the protein you need.
