Reply:Well, I'm sure others have gotten to this first, but here goes:

1. a) If a plant has flowers, and the ovary ripens and eventually falls off, this is a fruit.

2. c) A bulb is an undeground shoot, similar to roots, that provides sustenance to a plant during dormant months.

3. Trick question. Edible ginger is actually classified as a rhizome.

4. d) Of course.

5. b) For the same reason tomatoes are.

6. c) See previous responses

7. d) Tubers are very similar to bulbs, but are used in asexual reproduction.

8. c) Again, see other responses

9. d) What you are eating is actually a collection of flower stalks.

10. Hmm ... I don't know that I would classify spring onions (also known as scallions or green onions) as any of those, as it's just an onion that is harvested before the bulb has formed.
