Odd Fruit?

My husband recently went to the grocery store to get some fruit, while there, he decided to buy this orange-yellow spikey fruit. -Mostly because it looked cool. lol. The spikes are blunt and the fruit is roughly foot ball shaped, and about the length of a hotdog bun.


Any idea what it is? Or a website that might be able to tell me?
