Passion Fruit Tree not fruiting?

I have a grafted passion fruit tree which has had many flowers on it, however, they seem to be dropping off without fruiting. Does anyone know why?

Passion Fruit Tree not fruiting?
Well Im going to assume you and the tree are in the Philippines since this is Yahoo/Philippines. Some types of fruit trees require a hibernation period, so in order for this to happen the temperature must make a drastic drop for a certain length of time. This time frame can vary in certain geographical locations. The best growing for certain fruit trees in the Philippines is the higher mountain regions like Baguio where the temperatures can get quite cold at night, this helps the trees to hibernate!

In the USA, cherry and plum trees will lose all their leaves in the fall when the temperatures start to decline, then when winter hits, the tree goes into hibernation. This is when most of the trees sap receeds to the roots during the freezing months. Then the tree sprouts new leaves in the spring and flowers near the end of the spring, and then bears fruit by mid-summer.

Trees like coconut, banana, and mango dont require a hibernation period, this is why they can fruit many time in a season.

Hope this helps!
