What kind of fruit tree is this??

I have a tree in my backyard, but we have no idea what kind of tree it is, we're assuming its a fruit tree because the previous owners said it was and there are little fruit bulbs on the tree. The actual tree was diseased when we first moved in, so my dad chopped it down. Then a few years back branches started growing out of the trunk. We tied a few of the larger branches together, and now its a new tree. Since it's still young, there are only a few fruit bulbs on there.

Some facts are: We live in California, the tree blooms white flowers about the same time as our apple tree did, so about in March

my question is

1) what kind of tree is this?

2) how long will it take to bear more fruit?

Here are some pictures:

If the fruit get no bigger than a marble, and drop off and the tree has nice autumn colours, I would say it is probably a type of ornamental pear. Pyrus calleryana, 'Bradford' or one of the many different types. They flower white and the fruit never gets any bigger and just drops off. Grown for the flowers and autumn colouring.
Reply:I think its a loquat tree.

Becaus emy aunt has a tree similar

but iam not quite sure if it is.

If the fruit bulbs are growing yellow than it is.
