In One Piece, If a Devil Fruit User Dies, does that fruit become available again?

In One Piece, I have heard (Not read yet) that there is only one of each type of Devil Fruit, if a Devil Fruit User suffers a death, with exception of the Immortality Fruit (Or whatever the skelleton guy uses), then does the Fruit become available to someone else?





Also I have a Theory about the "Not able to swim" problem. I think it may just be the Mineral that is used to make the prisons to hold the Devil Fruit Users. So if they can find a way to neutrilize the neutrilizer then they could swim. Because in the Skypia arc, it was hinted that in the clouds devil fruit uses should be able to swim, except that since the Sea clouds and Island clouds were made stable because of the "Mineral" it was impossible for them to swim, it was because of the mineral, not because of the clouds being made of water.

i don't think the fruit will be available again since it should already have been digested.





and ur theory is right. it is due to some kind of element in sea water that drains the devil's fruit users' power. the marines use it to capture pirates with devil's fruit powers.
