Fruit flies are really bugging me now!?

i have a ton of fruit flies in my kitchen. i clean my kitchen every day, and vaccuum up the fruit flies because i dont know any other way. Are there any other ways? how can i permanently rid the fruit flies?

Fruit flies are really bugging me now!?
Put about an inch of vinegar in an empty bottle. Make a funnel using paper and place in the neck of the bottle. For some strange reason the fruit flies are attracted to the smell of the vinegar. Once the fly/crawl down the funnel they are trapped. They can't fly back up through the funnel opening. Empty the bottle every day, replace the vinegar and put in the paper funnel. Works like a charm - you'll discover you had many more than you thought.
Reply:You might also try pouring some bleach down the drain. It works for me.
Reply:You need to determine where they are coming into the house from. Do the kids leave the doors open when they come in or go out?

You might want to try a couple of those sticky fly strips that attract flies and they stick to the strip and die.
Reply:Take a bowl put sugar, dishwashing soap %26amp; vinegar %26amp; mix all together. They will go in there %26amp; die thats how I have gotten rid of fruit flies in the past.
Reply:Thank you so much for asking this question. I have a bunch of the tiny doggone things in my kitchen!

Thanks to Am and fordman for helping us out. I'm going to do both!
