Is eating too much fruit bad for you?

I eat pretty healthy (veggies, chicken, fish...) and I eat lots of fruit. I LOVE fruit and I eat like 8-10 servings a day. Mostly grapes and oranges. I have heard that you can gain weight from eating too much fruit becuz fruit has lots of sugar... is this true? Is there any other way eating too much fruit can be harmful to your health? Sometimes I eat more fruit than anything else in the day.

thats good that u eat a lot of fruit . fruits contain sucrose which is a form of glucose . it willnot increase ur weight even if u eat a lot of fruits . as most of fruit contain vitamin c which will be lost with in few hours in the form of sweat and urine . i would like to suggest to eat protein rch items like soyabeans to increase ur weight and increase ur muscles
Reply:No it isn't bad for you. But you could pop if you over eat. And you can still gain weight, because even if they are only fruit they still have calories.

Reply:It's more beneficial than harmful, dont worry about it too much. Some fruits can give u the runs if u eat too much so just watch out for that!

Reply:One nice thing about fruit, it will tell you if you are eating too much, you will develop diarrhea. Nasty. As long as you eat other foods, you should be alright.

Fruit is good for you. Eating excessive fruit raises insulin levels which can be problematic. However, its not that easy to


eat excessive levels of fruit.





If you're not overweight, dont worry about it. Just try to stay away from fruit juice.

So, if you still want to eat more fruits, you better depend on the variety of fruits.

Reply:eating too much of anything and not having a variety is not going to be good for anyone. oranges and grape have sugars in them but they are good sugar and you will not gain as much weight as if you ate a whole chocolate cake or something.
