to buy her favorite fruits. At the first stall she bought some avocados and kasoy, but didn’t buy pomegranate or pink pomelo. She got some ripe Guimaras mangoes and sineguwelas at the next stall, but didn’t get sampalok or mangosteen. She completely bypassed the next ones that were selling guyabano, cantaloupe, chico, balimbing, santol, and langka, but stopped by at her friend Auring’s stall for small talk. She casually asked Aling Auring if the watermelons were yellow and seedless, and her friend muttered a reply, which was unnecessary for both of them knew Tiya Tonying wouldn’t buy them anyway, no matter what the answer. They knew their watermelons, as well as we do.





Seeing what she liked, she stopped at the next stall that was selling papaya, duhat, and overripe guavas (good only for sinigang). WHICH OF THE THREE FRUITS WILL SHE BUY, AND WHAT OTHER FRUIT WILL SHE BUY AT THE NEXT STALL, if they are selling it (there are several possible choices)?

...hmm she seems to like only one-seeded fruits....hmm so most definitely she's gonna buy DUHAT....and for next purchase, she'll probably buy chesa or rambutan...whatever!

to answer your question - just guessing, maybe she'll buy duhat and durian, if available.
Reply:Over-ripe guavas (the flesh will be yellow then), and chesa in the next stall. She seems to like fruits with yellow flesh and has sturdy seeds, and a smooth surface (balat).
